Shipping Policy
How We Ship
HydraTough power units ship by LTL freight on a pallet or skid. Units are strapped, blocked, and shrink wrapped for transit. Larger units, multi unit orders, and dealer stocking orders may ship by flatbed or dedicated truck depending on size and destination.
Looking for replacement parts? We do not sell parts through the website yet. Email sales@hydratough.com with your model and serial number and we will get you a quote.
Lead Times
- Stock units: ship within 1 to 2 business days of order confirmation.
- Configured and built to order units: typically 4 to 6 weeks from order confirmation, depending on model, engine or motor availability, and current build schedule. We confirm a target ship date in writing when we accept your order.
- Custom units: lead time is quoted individually.
Lead times are estimates based on current production and supplier availability. We will contact you if anything changes. Ship dates are not guaranteed and we are not liable for losses caused by a delay in delivery.
Orders placed after 2:00 PM Central, or on a weekend or holiday, are processed the next business day.
Freight
Freight is free on power unit orders shipped within the continental United States. The freight cost is included in your price, so there is nothing extra to pay at checkout for standard dock to dock delivery.
Some deliveries need special handling that the carrier charges extra for. We will let you know before your order ships if any of these apply:
- Liftgate service at delivery
- Residential or non commercial delivery
- Limited access locations, including jobsites, wellsites, rail yards, substations, and self storage
- Inside delivery
- Redelivery after a missed appointment or refused shipment
If you need a liftgate, tell us at the time of order. HydraTough units cannot be unloaded by hand. If the delivery site has no forklift or loading dock, order a liftgate.
International Orders
Free freight applies to the continental United States. For Alaska, Hawaii, and international destinations, contact us for a freight quote before ordering. Duties, taxes, customs brokerage, and import fees are the buyer’s responsibility. Some models are subject to export requirements.
Receiving Your Shipment
This part matters, because freight claims live or die on what happens in the first ten minutes.
Before you sign the delivery receipt:
- Count the pieces against the bill of lading.
- Walk around the pallet or skid. Look for crushed corners, torn wrap, oil on the pallet, bent frames, damaged guarding, and dented tanks.
- If anything looks wrong, write it on the delivery receipt before you sign. Be specific. “Damaged” is enough to protect a claim. Signing clean is not.
- Photograph the shipment on the truck if you can, and again after unloading.
If you find damage after the driver leaves, report concealed damage to us within 5 business days of delivery with photographs. Keep all packaging and dunnage until the claim is resolved.
If your shipment is short or the wrong item arrived, notify us in writing within 10 days of receipt. See the Returns section.
Because we arrange and pay for freight, we file the freight claim for you. Just get us the notes and photos.
